“Every champion was once a contender that refused to give up”
Rocky Balboa
It is a scary time for all of us. No one on this planet right now has experienced anything like this and we simply do not have answers to many of our questions. As student-athletes we must find the positive in this situation and continue growing as people. It is very easy to fall out of our routines and habits that we stick to in normal life. Therefore, effective time management is paramount in a time like this. below are some templates of schedules and goals lists that will serve you greatly.

I encourage you all to create a daily schedule and to-do list to ensure you have something to work for and achieve each day. Whether it is as simple as completing a homework task, or as difficult as a two hour workout, setting goals for the day will undoubtedly help you stay more focused in a time like this. However, this also becomes a great time for you to unwind from the daily grind and spend time away from your given sport. If you are someone who began feeling burned out from months and months of working your tail off, then this is a great time to get away from your sport and spend time with family. Treat it as some sort of a vacation. Even in this time of unknown and fear, you can still find positives and be grateful. I hope this post has given you some awareness on how to tackle this situation and I would love to hear how some of you are spending your time.
